Why Is the U.S. Denying Science on COVID-19?
Both Dr. Ben Carson and Dr. Scott Atlas acknowledge that neither our CDC nor the Biden administration acknowledge the effectiveness of natural immunity to COVID-19. This is a denial of science. Recently, an Israeli study confirmed that natural protection (after recovering from a COVID-19 infection) is more effective than protection from a Covid-19 vaccine. Natural immunity provides longer lasting protection and decreases the incidents of hospitalization. In his interview with Maria Bartiromo, Dr. Scott Atlas tells Maria “We’re the only country, that I know of, from our peer Nations that refuses to accept this.” He also goes on to state “The U.S. is bizarrely denying the science.”
As Dr. Atlas points out, it has been known for decades that “natural infection confers protection“. In Europe, they count having the Covid-19 infection as protection. Yet, the Biden administration refuses to accept natural immunity to COVID-19 and instead insists upon COVID-19 vaccines. Dr. Scott Atlas Explains the Politicization of Science
Maria Bartiromo points out that (as a member of President Donald Trump’s coronavirus task force) Dr. Scott Atlas spent time with Dr. Anthony Fauci and Dr. Deborah Birx. Bartiromo asked Dr. Atlas what he thinks is going on. His answer is that both doctors Birx and Fauci are government bureaucrats who have been in their positions for 40 years. As a health care policy advisor, Atlas would present data (from scientific publications) to President Trump’s task force. It was often ignored. Dr, Atlas goes on to explain that:
“Science has become politicized. But the internal politics in the field of science and academia is so destructive and there’s no transparency and this undermines the validity of their research and their statements.”
