On Wednesday, October 14th, the New York Post published a story about what could possibly be one of the biggest news stories this year. It’s so big that both Twitter and Facebook blocked public access to the information. The hard drive from a laptop that was previously owned by Hunter Biden was turned over to the New York Post. This hard drive contains numerous emails that could be potentially damaging to Joe Biden. One email from 2015 alleges that Burisma energy executive Vadym Pozharskyi thanked Hunter Biden for “giving an opportunity to meet your father.”
The laptop had been left at a Delaware computer repair shop and had been subpoenaed and taken in 2019 by the FBI. It wasn’t until Rudy Giuliani and Steve Bannon turned over a copy of the hard drive to The New York Post that these emails have come into light. The fact that the FBI did nothing and then Twitter and Facebook attempted to cover up the information should outrage every American. This is not a Democrat or Republican issue. This is a matter of free speech.
Tucker Carlson’s Fight Against “Tech Tyranny”
Tucker Carlson has aired several segments on his show disclosing the censorship that is going on in America now. In my post Do You Believe Conservatives are Being Censored for Telling the Truth, I quoted Tucker Carlson saying that Twitter is “… making a political statement, a fact free political statement that amounts to propaganda. They’re supposed to be a platform. They’re not supposed to be a news organization. That’s why they have immunity under section 230. They shouldn’t.“
The Call to Repeal Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act
If Big Tech persists, in coordination with the mainstream media, we must immediately strip them of their Section 230 protections. When government granted these protections, they created a monster!pic.twitter.com/velyvYTOR0— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) October 15, 2020
Let me be very clear. @Twitter is interfering in this election by censoring the press. This censorship is wrong & why the @senjudiciary will be voting to subpoena @jack to testify before the committee. pic.twitter.com/ygHV6c4c3Z— Senator Ted Cruz (@SenTedCruz) October 15, 2020
Over to You
What are your thoughts about section 230 of the Communications Decency Act? Do you support Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas) in his announcement to subpoena Twitter’s CEO? Spread the word because people who only get their news from mainstream media will not know about any of this.
