Candace Owens Takes on Cardi B & the 2021 Grammy Awards
We live in a time when Dr. Seuss books and Mr. Potato Head are censured but the Grammy awards can broadcast a performance by Cardi B and Megan Three Stallion of the WAP song. (For those of you lucky enough to not be familiar with this song, WAP stands for Wet A** Pu**y) and many people (including Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson) found the Grammy performance vulgar and offensive. CNN’s Chloe Melas described it as a “very sex-positive performance” and People Magazine called it “provocative”. In the video below, you’ll see Candace Owens discussing Cardi’s Grammy performance on the March 15th episode of Tucker Carlson Tonight. Cardi B and Candace Owens have had disagreements before but on Tuesday, their Twitter followers watched dueling tweets between them. The result is that Candace Owens is now threatening to sue Cardi B for defamation over a fake Photoshopped tweet. (All of this is happening while Dumbo, pirates and Peter Pan are being censured and Pepé Le Pew is being banned from future Warner Bros. projects because he normalizes “rape culture”.
Watch as Owens explains her views to Tucker: “You see that fundamentally we are seeing the destruction of American values and American principles. And it’s terrifying!” Owens exclaims. “Parents should be terrified that this is the direction that our society is heading towards. Again, we are weakening America…. We are setting the stage, and it feels like we are looking at corrosion, like we are about to see the end of an empire.”
